The definitive study and biography of Kate Greenaway, published the same year as the first edition. Fine, recent design binding in full yellow morocco leather. Original original watercolors in the style of Greenaway, one each indented into the covers, one each on front and rear marbled endpapers, and the fifth on a page before the half title, attributing the watercolors to artist Alexandra Altman. Two wide raised bands on the spine, and title in blue. Pages xx, 301 plus 2 pages publisher ads. A charming, fine binding housed in a protective dark blue clamshell box with a yellow morocco title label..
