About This Item
Doubleday and Company, 1953. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good Dust Jacket. This old book with dust jacket is clean, solid and in great shape! This is a hardcover book with 251 pages including some illustrations. The binding is strong with all pages firmly attached. The pages are clean with no soiling or tears. There is a dedication written on the first end paper signed "With love from Jean" which may be the illustrator. There is also a bookplate on the first end paper. The title page shows 1953 as the publish date. This is definitely Not a former library book. The price has been clipped from the DJ. The dust jacket is about 99% intact with some light chipping on the top of the front and on the top and bottom of the spine. There is also a short (half inch) closed tear on the top of the front and back. I have placed the DJ in a fresh mylar jacket and this old book looks and feels great! We always ship in a sturdy cardboard box!
