A fine first edition in a near fine dust jacket, inscribed by the author: "For my dear Orgel with love from the author and Me Eloise." The inscription is to the children's author Doris Orgel. Laid in is a card picturing a posing Eloise and signed by the illustrator Hilary Knight. Comes in a custom-made quarter leather solander case with gilt decoration and lettering.
