Beautifully hand-colored lithograph print extracted from Thomas McKenney and James Hall's History of the Indian Tribes of Native America octavo, circa. 1850s. Moderate toning to pages in text block, with indentation from paperclip on final page. One light spot of foxing on bottom of page with illustration. Illustration is clean and bright. This landmark publication by McKenney and Hall was first printed as an elephant folio in the 1830s, then later reprinted in an octavo sized set in the 1850s. Print is accompanied by historical descriptive text block written by James Hall. ; Hand-colored lithograph; Small 4to 9" - 11" tall .
