1818. Colour aquatint. 110m by 180mm (image) 140mm by 230mm (sheet). Killerton, Seat of Sir Thos. Dyke Ackland Bt MP'. Killerton is an 18th-century house in Broadclyst, Exeter, Devon. It was built for the Acland family in 1778. The garden was created in the 1770s by John Veitch, one of the leading landscape designers of the time. Killerton was given to the National Trust by British politician Sir Richard Acland. Published by Rudolf Ackermann in his Repository of the Arts.
