London: George G. Harrap and Company.� 1932. First Rackham illustrated trade edition, first printing. First Rackham illustrated trade edition, first printing. Original illustrated card cover, in dustwrapper. Pictorial endpapers. With four full-page colour plates and various black and white or red illustrations and vignettes by Arthur Rackham throughout the text. A very good copy, the binding square and firm, the card cover lightly rubbed and creased with a few very tiny closed tears to the edges. The contents, with some very light spotting to the text block edges and a small crossed out name to the front free endpaper, are otherwise clean throughout. Complete with the rubbed and creased original dustwrapper which has toning and a tiny stain to the spine, a short closed tear to the top of the front spine fold, and a small pen inscription to the top of the front flap.
