A Personality and a Shrine, L'envoi, index. Second Impression of the Trade Edition. Excellent history of the book, typography, printing and collecting in the early 20th century. The cover, A modern adaptation of the Nicholas Eve 'fanfare' design, used on a copy of Valerii Maximi Dictorum, Antwerp, 1574, is designed by Enrico Monetti. Only the slightest wear to tips front fore-edge board with browning to endpapers, else, no wear. Clean, tight and strong binding with no underlining, highlighting or marginalia. Brown cloth with ornate gilt design and gilt top edge..
