Boston and London: Houghton Mifflin Company 148pp. Riverside Press Cambrige. Blue cloth with white lettering on spine and decoration on front cover, illustrated with drawings. This is one of a several science books for children written by Asimov. He explores early electrical experiments and gives an overview of Benjamin Franklin's contributions to science and the American Revolution. Pages are clean (no writing, underlining, or highlighting) but yellowed with age. Binding is a bit loose (text block is slightly pulling away from boards) but pages still secure/attached. Boards have some rubbing to extremities. Unclipped DJ is sunned/ink-rubbed/finger soiled with some minor moisture stains to upper rear flap. Heavy shelfwear (1.5" triangular piece missing from upper right front corner, moderate chipping/rubbing/nicking to all extremities). Looks nice in protective mylar covering. This is not a remainder or ex-library. No previous owner markings. Nice reading copy. . First Edition. Hard Cover. Good -/Fair +. Illus. by Mays, Victor. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
