About This Item
Philadelphia: . & T. Kite, 1814. Book. Very Good. 3/4 Leather. 1st Edition. 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" tall. Title continued, "Containing the Names, Professions, and Residence of Heads of Families and Persons in Business in the City and Suburvbs, with Other Useful Information". Bound in 3/4 red leather with gilt title and raised bands with gilt decoration on the spine. A little scuffed on the marbled boards and edges, including the hinges. But solid and clean with no prior owner marks. The pages are toned with age, but it is over 200 years old, after all. No foxing, Kite published this only in 1814, apparently not able to compete with other directories. SCARCE, as no other copies are on the internet at this writing..
