Golden endpapers. (Boards very gently rounded at spine ends, internally neat, clean, bright and tight). In its original dust jacket (slightly bumped on rear upper edge, minor shelf wear on verso). 4to. Recounts the full story of the knight in the high middle ages, starting in 1314 with trouble brewing between the Scots and the English and the disastrous fall of Berwick Castle in 1318, and continues with their development over the next 170 years or so, via Agincourt and the Wars of the Roses, to the fall of Richard III on Bosworth Field.
