New York: E.P. Dutton & Co. Inc, 1930. First Edition. Hardcover. Near Fine/Fine. Near Fine in a Fine jacket, unclipped ($2.50), faint rubbing. Blue cloth, slightly pushed at the corners, toned pastedown labels on the spine and front board. Square and firmly bound with a red top stain, clean internally. Ibanez's novelized biography of Alonso de Odjeda, a conquistador seeking "to conquer virgin land, to love a woman, and to worship the Holy Virgin who protected him.
