Gilt decoration to front and spine, spine faded, edges and corners rubbed and frayed, with a one inch closed tear to upper left corner of front cover. Binding weakened but holding under front endpaper, sewn signatures remain sound. Light sporadic foxing to endpapers and margins, owner name in neat fountain pen on front endpaper. Extensive biographical notes of and about Officer McWatters are followed by narratives of case studies based on his experiences as a New York City police detective. Various historical events and commentary on the social climate of this era are interspersed throughout the book. Frontis portrait with an additional 29 woodcut illustrations throughout text. Domestic orders are shipped via Media Mail (Standard Option) or Priority Mail. International orders are sent using First Class Mail International (Standard option) or Priority Mail International (Expedited option). Shipping rates are determined the actual costs by method, weight, size of package and geographic destination.

Our shipping fees are based on average books weighing 2.2 LB, or 1 KG. If your book order is heavy or oversized, we may contact you to let you know extra shipping is required.
