Kyoto: Kyoto Shorin, ca. 1860. Reprint edition, large fukurotoji, 9 vols, four of them with illustrations of swords, showing blades, tangs, and maker's marks; red paper covers with original title labels; covers rubbed, a good clean set. The title was originally released in 1792 and saw a number of reprints, over the years It serves as a reference for early Japanese swords, with lineages and biographies of imporant swordsmiths as well as images for identification. This edition has no colophon, but a advertisement for another book in the back of the final volume suggests that the publisher was Kyoto Shorin. Yale, LOC, and U of Michigan holding the 1792 edition in the US.
