New York:The Macmillan Company. 1902. 1st edition, 1st state with design on title page upside down. vii+251pp+2pp ads. Illustrations by Genjiro Yeto. Hardcover. Decorated green boards lightly soiled and shelfworn with wear along edges, spine ends and edge points. Top page edges gilt but rubbed. Internally pages clean, free of previous owners marks or signatures. Photograph frontispiece has discolored pages adjacent to it, including title page. Otherwise a very good, clean copy. The binding is tight and hinges intact.
