About This Item
Praze: Vaclav Nanka, 1945. First Edition. Paperback. Good+/Good+. Plain staple-bound wraps with cloth backstrip; full-color illustrated dust jacket; 4to; pp. [4], 25, [3], beautifully illustrated in full-color throughout. Covers detached, very brittle, and off-set onto illustrated first and last leaves of the text block; the occasional tiny chip or closed tear along edges of text block (in this cataloguer's opinion, inoffensive, and in no way detracting from the appeal of the illustrations or text). Dust jacket split along spine; very faintly soiled; and lightly chipped and torn along the edges; but colors remain bright, so it presents nicely in mylar. Sold as is. A very pretty, and very scarce, volume, showing a variety of folk toys, alongside verses by numerous contributors. OCLC locates 2 copies.
