About This Item
Nashville, TN: Publishing House Methodist Episcopal Church, South, 1898. Third edition. Hardcover. Very Good. 1898, third edition. Hardcover, small 8vo., original maroon cloth, gilt title. 124 pp. Prepared as a text-book, this edition was printed on versos only with the facing pages blank so students could take notes. This copy was used by J. E. Rowsey and his pencil notes appear throughout. Otherwise a solid copy, with light rubbing and shelfwear to the covers. The author was a chemistry professor at Vanderbilt University. An unusual book as it was published by the Methodist Episcopal Church but has zero religious content. Worldcat locates only 3 copies of this and any earlier editions.
