James Connolly (1868-1916) , the Socialist leader of the Irish Citizen Army, was executed by the British for his role in the Easter Uprising of 1916; he remains an important voice in leftist thought. First published in 1910; this is a Good only copy of a later printing.. Rare. Paperbound with titling and the island of Ireland in green on the front cover. Clean text; 137 pages, followed by five pages of adverts. The covers are in fragile condition, with half of the spine missing. Rubbed at margins and darkened. The textblock, however, remains bright and fresh. . Later Printing. Soft Cover. Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
