Short edge tears and soiling to cover, address label on front cover affecting title and image, interior clean with a few tears and corner folds, one page has crayoning over an image. Color cover "Decorated! For Services of Valor and Distinction, the Republic of France Confers Upon You its Cross of War" with illustration by Carton Moorpark of a decorated German Shepherd dog. Lots of wonderful color ads and interesting articles and fiction. Includes full page color illustration of a Boy Scout "A Messenger From the President" by F. S. Brunner, three full page and one half page full color illustrations of early airplanes to accompany article "Souvenir Pictures of the Great War. The Sky Fighters of France: From Paintings by Lieutenant Henri Farre". .
