New York: Grosset & Dunlap, [circa 1947]. First edition thus, a photoplay edition with scenes from the 1947 movie starring Robert Montgomery on jacket panels and flaps. Crease to front cover of book (board bent then straightened) otherwise would be very good or better with bookplate on front endpaper, in good to very good dust jacket with rubbed creasing to edges, shallow chipping, rubbing and few tears, and upper portion of spine fading.
