London, Printed for G. Freer, 1769 1st. Small hardback, 7 x 4 inches. In full calf leather fine binding with blind decorative paneled boards, raised banding to spine with gilt lettering to leather spine label, and gilt bands to spine ends. In very good condition. Near fine binding (later). Some minor darkening to edges of endpapers. Some minor tanning, and occasional minor foxing spots to pages, some minor handling marks. Lacks one page, p135-6 (Stewing Oysters.) Else a very good clean and tight copy. xii + 276pp + 4pp (Table Dressing) + 2pp (Marketing Tables) & Index (Unpaginated, 10pp.) With decorative head and tail pieces, 4 pages of diagrams of table-settings at rear.
