Quarto, later quarter leather binding with marbled sides, spine titled in gilt and with raised bands, marbled endpapers. b&w engraved plates, colour plates, lacks 'Infanterie Legere' plate, pp iii, 648, ii, Includes the large colour folding map of Algeria. The 1884 edition, but with the (very toned) title page for 1875 additionally bound in. Some light foxing. Very good condition. [Heavy book, please inquire regarding postage] The history of Algeria. Includes many b&w illustrations, and colour plates of paintings of Algerian soldiers in uniform. Quarter leather.
