H R Allenson. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Good. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. In good condition without dust jacket. Undated assumed first edition with gift inscription to front endpaper dated 1926. Blue cloth boards with gilt titles to faded spine. Some foxing throughout particularly heavy to front preliminary pages including title page etc. Sporadic foxing thereafter. The author describes the landscape, countryside and natural history throughout the changing seasons of his beloved Monmouthshire and the Wye Valley. Illustrated with 13 black and white photographs including frontispiece.
