London: Macmillan and Co., 1923. Leather. Good. 8" by 6". None. A collection of tales intended for boy scouts by the celebrated Rudyard Kipling, bound in full crushed morroco, with a slipcase. Reprint. First published the same year in November, with this edition being published in December. Bound in full crushed morocco with a cardboard slipcase. This work features of short stories and poetry based on the land and oceans. Rudyard Kipling was the Boy Scouts commissioner at the time and intended these works to be used by scouts and guides.From the library of A. P. Watt & A. S. Watt of A. P. Watt and Son, literary agent of Rudyard Kipling. Bound in full crushed morrocco with a cardboard slipcase. Externally generally smart with fading to the spine, with loss to the head and tail and two closed tears to the tail, minor bumping to the extremities of the boards and minor marks to the boards. Endpapers renewed with slight offsetting and scattered spotting. Internally generally firmly bound with only slight signs of strain in places. Half title retained. Pages bright and generally clean with spotting to the front and rear blanks and tidemarks to the rear blank. The slipcase is sound with fading and rubbing to the extremities, and joints tender. Good
