Flat-signed by Sinclair and dated Nov. 20, 1963 by the author on the front free endpaper (Sinclair was deceased on November 25, 1968). 4. True first edition in red cloth with silver title to top of spine. Inscribed to the British writer Phyllis Bottome (Phyllis Forbes Dennis) on front free endpaper.
