Hardcover. 226p., alkaline paperstock throughout, hardbound in 11x8.5 inch cloth boards and glossy photo-decorated dust jacket, which shows a Cornish scene recto, San Francisco verso. A fine untouched copy. Not found in OCLC as of September 2017 but a copy known to exist in a University of California library. A "work of faction," authors' term; the last quarter of the text consists in a chronology of source material that underlies this biography (of Cornish immigrant John White Morshead) that is fleshed out from their imagination. A third of the population of Cornwall emmigrated when Bolivian tin took over the tin-mining industry.
