Les Livres de France." Ink inscription at head of first leaf: "Michael Barger, Cairo, February 1968." Publications de la société d'archéologie copte. Badawy was an Egyptian-born Egyptologist who taught at UCLA and Johns Hopkins, and is the namesake of the latter's Badawy Chair in Egyptian Art and Archeology.
