London: Secker & Warburg, 1950. First edition of his first book published under this name. SIGNED BY O'BRIAN on the title page. Crisp, clean and very good to near fine with sunning to spine through the dust jacket; in very good to near fine dust jacket with spine lettering a little tanned, corners nicked, and shallow chipping to head of spine. A scarce book that is scarce to rare signed.
