Minor issues present such as mild cracking, inscriptions, inserts, light foxing, tanning and thumb marking. Overall a good condition item. Paper cover has mild edge-wear with light rubbing and creasing. Some light marking and tanning.

British: Fontana, 1960. Solid with a crease on the spine, a small label taped on the spine, small sticker lifts on the top and bottom of the front cover, and the covers show light wear. There is some ball point pen writing on the top corner of the first inside page.. 1st Printing. Paperback. Good- Very Good.

New York: Pantheon, 1956. Cloth. Good/good. 8vo, pp. [6], 251, [5]. Gray cloth-covered boards with red and gilt accents; minor bumping to boards. Firm binding; no loose pages. Book with minor wear. Tanned edges and pages. Uneven tanning inside covers and stain where dust jacket was once taped to boards. Stamp of prior owner on front flyleaf. Dust jacket with rubbing, chips and tears. Tanned spine and tanning and tape damage visible on the verso side. Dust jacket now encased in a clear, protective cover. Edition not stated but likely a first edition.

New York: Pantheon Books, 1956. First American edition. Cloth. Near Fine/Very Good+. gray cloth, 1st U.S. ed.(1956), 251 pages, in Near Fine Dust Jacket. Top edge of taxt block just beginning to speckle. The dj is now protected in a mylar sleeve.
