Navy cloth-covered boards; illustration and gilt titles on front and spine. Bumped extremities; wear to covers. Decorative endpapers, some tanning. Rear hinge cracked at endpaper (Vol. 2). Previous owner's name in on verso of front free endpaper. Text block edges starting to fox. Prelims foxed. Both volumes quite loose. Internally neat, clean and bright. A large and heavy two volume set which will require an additional charge for overseas delivery. 8vo.
