New York: Charles Scribner's Sons, 1971. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good. First edition, first printing with A-10.71 (C) on copyright page. Very Good in Very Good dust jacket with price intact. Several water drops to blue topstain and blue spine cloth, resulting in some light bleeding to book and jacket. Dulling to gilt stamping. Dust jacket shows several edge tears and a chip missing from the rear panel. A nice copy of Le Guin's sixth book, which was nominated for both the Hugo and Nebula Awards.
Synopsis
The Lathe of Heaven is a 1971 science fiction novel by Ursula K. Le Guin. The plot revolves around a character whose dreams alter reality. The story was first serialized in the American science fiction magazine Amazing Stories. The novel received nominations for the 1972 Hugo and the 1971 Nebula Award, and won the Locus Award for Best Novel in 1972.
