Faint author's name to third panel, spine slightly dulled, head cap missing, upper joint starting but holding well, couple of scrapes to lower cover, slightly rubbed to extremities. Internally piece missing from fore edge margin of first page of index (not affecting text), book plate of Gerald J. Dayey to front pastedown, otherwise quite bright and clean.
