New York: Harcourt, Brace and Company, 1944. First edition. Hardcover. Very good/very good. Inscribed by Porter on illustrated plate at front flyleaf! Black stamped beige cloth boards in dust jacket, octavo, not illustrated. Book has foxing and mild soil to boards and spine, binding tight, text clean and unmarked but toned throughout and soil to edges of block. DJ has edgewear that includes some small chips and tears, rubbing, toning, soil, front flap price clipped, now in archival mylar wrap.
