No dustwrapper, some bumping to spine ends and corners of pale blue boards, some fading to the spine but black titles thereon are still clear, as are those on front board; a later owner's name and date (1970) on f/ep, otherwise a good clean tight copy of this hard-cover book. Looks mostly at the Holy Land at the time of the Wars with the Philistines, particularly at the battles at Michmash, Elah, and Gilboa. Originally published in 1888, this is the second edition from 1901. 240pp, 4 maps.. Hard Cover. Good/No Jacket. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
