The hinges are all extra reinforced therefore sound, though there is some rubs/wear/chipping, as shown. Some general rubs/usage wear. Printed on quality paper that is fresh bright and clean. Appears free of foxing. No writing. Some external hinges starting but internally all are strongly attached. Chips, as shown. Still, an impressive antiquarian set that displays beautifully. The Delphian Society drew its inspiration for course of reading from the Oracle at Delphi, and was established to promote wisdom through 15 minutes a day of good reading, focusing on cultural subjects, excluding the technical.
