Buffalo, New York: William S. Hein & Co., Inc., 1993. Originally published in 1914, this is the first revised edition [1993] with a new introduction and index by J. Wesley Miller, and has a personalized inscription signed by Miller on the verso of the title page. This collection of legal humor includes anecdotes and short commentary by and for use by lawyers, basically "clean" humor but with some stories told in dialect which some may deem offensive today. Bright green cloth with gilt spine lettering, 437 pages, no dustjacket, most likely as issued. Near fine condition with only some very minimal rubbing to the corners, good hinges, firm text block, very clean pages free from other names or markings.. Inscribed by The Editor. First Thus. Hard Cover. Very Good/No. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
