Fading to the spine and along the edges. Text block edges have some soil. Inside pages are clean and unmarked. Dust jacket spine has soil and the flap edges and folds are darkened. Some chipping along the top edge. A biography of John Hornby, an English explorer of the Arctic barren lands in the early twentieth century. Illustrated with black and white photographs and in text maps. Includes three fold out maps at rear. .
