Mayence: David Kapp Red cloth with gilt titles and gilt picture of boatmen and siren on the Rhine on front panel. All edges gilt. Boards bevelled at all edges. Unusual endpapers feel and appearance of watered silk. 314 pages with at least 3 tissue-guarded engravings. No date, possibly 1880s. Spine is slightly darkened but remains a very attractive and finely produced book. . Fourth Edition. Decorative Cloth. Very Good/No Jacket. 5" x 6.5". Hard Back.
