Paris: Grassart, 1886. Hardcover. Very Good. Hardback. A very good copy in a superb full tooled calf binding by Zaehnsdorf with emblems in blind round the upper and lower boards. Bevelled edges. Five raised bands on spine. Lettered in gilt on a maroon title-piece. Edges stained red. Marbled end-papers. A clean copy without foxing, ownership inscription or other internal marking. Pp.xiv,536. 30 illustrations including colour with some photographs and chromolithographs. Text in French translated from the English by Paul de Felice. Photographs available on request.
