London: Liebig's Extract of Meat Company, Limited, 1893. Small octavo, 104 pages. Illustrated. First edition. Practical recipes, as long as one enjoys meat extract in nearly everything. Justus von Liebig's Meat Extract was produced in Uruguay and sold worldwide, promising health and vitality. These were issued in various bindings, this copy in black and gold printed red cloth. Red boards lightly soiled, otherwise very good. [OCLC locates eleven copies, only four in the US].
