Inscribed by Author(s). 1st Edition. hardback, octavo, blind stamped red cloth lettered gilt to a faded spine, top edge gilt, device in gilt to the upper board, lightly rubbed at the head and foot, foxing to the closed page edges, the binding remains tight, inscription to a previous owner from the author on the half-title page, bookplate of James Donald Dobson to the front pastedown, the remainder of the text is clean and unmarked, b&w plates, xvi + 288pp.
