Good 2-volume set (Macmillan, 1896, 303 + 319 pages); hardcover in green cloth, bright gilt titles and gilt pictorials on front boards and spines; issued withou dust jackets; all edges gilt; pages clean, tight, unmarked; bindings sound and square; Volume I has pea-sized chip at top of spine, tiny rubbed spot on back joint (i.e., exterior spine-fold), minimal corner-rubs; Volume II has quarter-sized chip at top of spine (causing a loss of Sir Cha- from the spine-title), a 1/2-inch rub on the back joint, and minimal corner-rubs; both volumes have a gift inscription on the half-title page; on its way to you the same or next day in bubblewrap; email confirmation; standard mail takes 4-14 days; priority mail takes 2-5 days; international orders go by airmail (6-10 days).
