Covers scuffed along spine and lightly edgeworn, with some bumping at corners and tail and some general surface smudging. Binding is sound and pages unmarked.
Harrison's fifth collection of poems, set up as correspondence with the Russian poet Sergei Yesenin, who committed suicide in 1925 in his Leningrad hotel room after writing his final poem "Goodbye my friend, goodbye" in his own blood. 1000 copies of this paperback were issued along with 100 numbered and 26 lettered hardcover copies.
