Probably the most famous military historian and theorist of the modern age. This volume (the first of two) covers his experiences on the Western Front in World War I, the development of armor (in which he played a prominent role), etc. A very good copy, slight stain on front hinge, in slightly soiled dust jacket with slightly faded spine and chipped corners.
