Author's acclaimed first novel centers upon a dysfunctional Virginia family. Stated first edition. No writing, marks, underlining, or bookplates. No remainder marks. Spine is tight and crisp. The corners are square and the boards are flat and true. Boards are faded along the top and bottom edges and the endpapers are moderately yellowed. Dust jacket is not price-clipped but does have some flaws including micro tears along the edges, small (1/2") chips along the upper spine, some discoloration, and some puckering (but no watermark or associated discoloration) along the lower front cover. This highly collectible, very good, first edition/first printing copy is protected with an archival mylar dust jacket cover. Satisfaction guaranteed!
