London: For T.N. Longman and O. Rees, 1799. Octavo. Third edition, with considerable improvements, seven portraits elegantly engraved, and a correct map of the Russian Empire. In three volumes, 568, 543 and 572pp., appendix pages after publisher's ad in volume three 569-572 should have been bound in volume one, small closed marginal tear to page 569 with early repair, nice large folding map of Russia with foxing, all bound in contemporary tan calf, earlier rebacking to style, spine flat, red and brown contrasting leather labels gilt, spine decorated in gilt and blind, some scattered foxing throughout but an exceptionally nice set.
