Leipzig: Bernhard Tauchnitz, 1857. Early printing, same year as the first edition, first Tauchnitz printing. Two volumes in one binding. Collection of British Authors Series, but without half-titles indicating such. Three quarter calf over marbled boards, gilt decorated spine, marbled edges, 314 + 298 pages. Covers rubbed, chip to spine head, front joint reglued (not professionally, but the cover is securely attached), text block sound, pages clean, no names or other markings. . Hard Cover. Fair. 24mo - over 5" - 5¾" tall.
