Gren cloth, large octavos with titles in gilt. Volume I has contemporary inscription dated 1887. Some foxing to endpapers, notes in pencil to rear endpaper of each volume, a few pages have some minor pencilling, otherwise clean. Corners bumped, spines show fading, light edgewear with usual light wear to top and bottom of spines, bindings tight.
