New York: D. Appleton and Company, 1901. No Statement of Printing . Cloth. Good/No Dust Jacket. Two volumes (complete). A Good set (1901 owner's name) in brown cloth lettered in gold, top edges gilt. Glue-mends to paper tears at the gutters, and shallow cloth wear at the spine tips. Purchased by us from science writer Martin Gardner, and with his scattered pencil underlining and marginalia (but not his owner's name).
