Boston: Little, Brown & Co., 1866. Hardcover. Good+. Vol. 1- xii + 558 pages. Vol. 2- vii + 532 pages. 5 1/4 x 7 3/4 in. Illustration on frontis with tissue. Each volume tan half calf binding on spine and corners with marbled boards, gilt lettering on spine, marbled end papers and edges of text block. Condition of each volume is GOOD+: Spines worn on edges, covers worn esp. on corners. Top of text block darkened, pages clean, binding tight. Small book plate of David B. Ogden on inside of front cover as well as signature of Ogden in ink on second ffep. Vol 1: leather labels missing from spine, rear hinge cracked. Vol. 2: one leather label missing from spine, front cover almost completely detached.
