About This Item
Exeter: J & B Williams, 1832. Edition Not Specified. Fair/No DJ. 12mo = 7-9". n/a. Printing Not Spec. Complete in two volumes. Gilt lettering on spine. With a Preliminary View of the French Revolution. Black leather covers are very worn on edges and corners, front hinge on Volume 1 is cracked. Some scuffing on covers, soiled. Large water stain on volume two that incorporates most pages. The water stain is a large semicircle that darkens half the page but does not affect the readability. Around pages 253-255 the upper right corners have been folded. Volume one also has some water staining but not to the same extent as volume two. Foxing throughout both volumes. The covers are worn, scuffed and soiled but the contents, despite the water stain are quite valuable and considering the age of the book quite nice.
